Interested in a photo session with me, but have some questions? Here are some common questions and answers for you.
How far in advance should I book a photo session?
At least 2-3 months.
What happens if I need to reschedule or if the weather is bad on the day of my session?
Contact me as soon as possible and we'll work out another date. Wisconsin weather likes to keep us on our toes!
How long does a session last?
Duration depends on your selected session, but the time will fly!
Do you offer mini sessions or just full sessions?
Mini sessions are sometimes offered around seasons/holidays ; full sessions are always available.
What time of day is best for a photo session?
The best time for photo sessions are 1-2 hours after sunrise or 1-2 hours before sunset.
Do you offer in-home or studio sessions or just outdoor locations?
I am all about natural light and outdoor settings. Those provide the perfect backdrop for stunning, authentic photos! Consider parks, your home, or a favorite place - anything you like or have a connection with! I am happy to work with you on the perfect spot!
Should we get our hair and makeup professionally done?
Totally up to you and your preference. Professional hair and makeup can elevate your final images and give you that extra confidence in front of the camera.
I or a family member wears glasses, will that be an issue?
Not at all! However, I suggest removing the lenses if possible to avoid glare as it cannot be fully removed in editing. As an alternative, they can bring a pair of stylish non-prescription glasses to accessorize.
Will you help with posing or should we come with ideas?
No need to bring posing ideas or practice posing, I will help you with this. If you have something specific you would like, please let me know.
Can we bring our pets to the session?
Paws-itively! Please be sure they have a safe place (leash, kennel/carrier) and person to be with during your session.
How long does it take to get our photos back?
Typically 3-4 weeks.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive a digital gallery link for viewing and downloading your photos.
Can I order prints and albums through you?
Yes! You will choose your favorite photos and have printing options to include prints, albums, and wall art. I will help you with this.
How long will you keep my photos?
4-6 months; be sure to download them right away so you always have access.
Can we post our photos on social media?
Definitely! Just tag or credit me when you share. Avoid screenshots (it lowers image quality) and resist applying filters - trust me, my edits are already perfect!
Do you offer payment plans?
No.
What’s included in the session fee?
Your photo session and digital photos are included in your fee. Prints, wall art, and albums are available for separate purchase.
